As Fred says no Boli trains to be a Pilgrim

Eastwood: Linked to Plymouth but maybe didn't fancy the travelling, ironically
The Pilgrims chairman of football Peter Ridsdale believes the travelling distance may have put ex-Shrimpers striker Freddy Eastwood off a loan to Home Park from his present unwanted position at Championship Coventry City.
Freddy is currently surplus to requirements with the Sky Blues, but on a fair whack sitting around doing nothing with a contract that doesn't run out until the summer, was approached by the recenly taken over Argyle with a view to a temporary stint in Devon.
However, the Wales international turned down the opportunity, leading Ridsdale to contemplate why.
Risdale told
www.thisisdevon.co.uk:
"He was just one of the players that we sounded out. So yes, the question was asked but, for whatever reason - maybe the distance was a factor - he did not want to come down," Ridsdale told the Plymouth HeraldIt's no secret that Plymouth need someone to put the ball into the back of the net and an experienced player at the other end to help us stop conceding goals.
Yannick Boli: Trying his luck in the south west
It looked as if his signature was as good as on the contract, but in the end Blues boss Paul Sturrock decided not to 'rock the boat', and who can blame him the way results have been going.
Or, of course, he wanted too much money, whatever his agent said,
A couple of good reserve outings does not a good player make, but we said at the time that letting French forward Yannick Boli go might bite us on the bum at some later stage, and the rumour that Crawley Town were sniffing around certainly seeemed to confirm that, however bottom of the table Plymouth Argyle, who the former Paris Saint Germain player is meant to be training with, is another matter.
So good luck to him down Devon way, and if he does end up with the Pilgrims, maybe he can do the decent thing and pick up an injury around March time when we turn up to play.
