Southend United 2 Oxford United 1: The Highlights

The Shrimpers went two points clear at the top as goals from Mark Phillips and Ryan Hall handed them the points over a very good U's side, which even Blues boss Paul Sturrock accepted his side were a little fortunate to do so teling the Echo: 'people would've gone away from the match knowing the better team lost' and a warning that; 'playing like that we're not going to win too many other matches.'

No arguing there Luggs, and we owe a lot to loanee keeper Luke Daniels having a great game between the sticks, and you can catch the best of his saves here, along with 'that' miss!
