Jumping ahead of the Ipswich friendly on Friday, July 22nd is another visit to Dartford on Friday, July 11th, kick-off 19.00.
Hopefully, we're do better than the last time we were there when a whole bunch of Blues boss Paul Sturrock's summer signings turned up not knowing each other and we lost 2-0, it was Luggy's first friendly.
The official site has been quick to inform us not to look beyond these two as definitely happening but, of course, we are all looking forward to our Scottish jaunt, and as it seems the club need the Shrimpers Trust to cough up 10k to make sure it happens let's hope the membership vote yes! At the Trust player-of-the-year do Luggy was pushing possible games against Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur, certainly only believe the latter when it's confirmed by the club, and, that we're take on Great Wakering Rovers soon before or after Dartford in order to get the whole squad a half game each evening.
Now that we can accept!
