FA Cup Second Round: Preston North End or Southend United v Oldham Athletic

FA Cup: Second-round draw made

FA Cup: Road to Wembley continues

One of the final draws out of the glass bowl the Shrimpers will at least play at home if they can defeat Preston in the replay to be held at Roots Hall in nine days time against Oldham Athletic.

Another side in the third tier who are just a place and a point behind our opening round opponents, the winner of that tie then gets put in the hat with the big boys, about time we got Arsenal, home or away, I don't mind!

13 Preston North End 16 4 1 3 17 18 3 1 4 14 16 7 2 7 31 34 23 -3
14 Oldham Athletic 17 3 2 3 8 9 3 2 4 14 18 6 4 7 22 27 22 -5

A quick word for the Essex capital Chelmsford, who have drawn our League Two rivals Macclesfield at home, tough tie but winnable, and Redbridge, who if they can get past Oxford City, which will be difficult as it is, then would have the dubious pleasure of travellling to the creepies.
