Mildy: 'The size of the club is massive!'

So he's now a Lion, and with photos of him signing a one year contract on their official site, he took the opportunity to say a few words, but it was mostly the usual stuff, and we await his views on what's going on at Roots Hall at the moment.

Talking to www.millwallfc.co.uk Big Steve said: "I'm very pleased to be here. It took a couple of days and sometimes I thought it wouldn't happen, but now it has it was an wasy decision to come here. The size of the club is massive and every time I've played here there has been an incredible atmosphere and Millwall have always had brilliant support. They are a good side, did really well to get promoted last season and I want to be around the type of players here - winners."

Thanks for that Steve, and get paid on time most probably.

Steve will be playing again with Lions striker Gary Alexander who he knows from the mid-nineties when they both played for Swindon Town.
