Brady: 'Having more fans at the matches would really increase the chances of success'

The Shrimpers are top of the table and looking good, so CEO Tara Brady is giving supporters a chance to pick up a half-season card for the remaining home games in the fourth tier after Oxford United this Saturday.

Brady told www.echo-news.co.uk: “It was fantastic when the stadium was full for the Morecambe match and it would be great if we could have the ground like that more regularly. The team are having a fantastic season and have done brilliantly to get to the top of the league but there is still a very long way to go. Having more fans at the matches would really increase the chances of success because the supporters really do make a difference when they get behind the team. That’s why we’re hoping fans will be keen to buy the half-season cards.”

The half-season card entitles a holder to twelve matches in League Two, starting from the home clash against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday, January 2nd, 2012.

Adult prices are £190, which gives fans two games for free when compared to the standard match-by-match prices.

Seniors, students and young people will cost £115, with Juniors £75 and those under eight £20.

In the family stand, adult prices are £150 with Juniors £30.

With a season card, the fan's seat is guaranteed at Roots Hall and holders also get first priority for any high-demand games, both home and away, just in case we get Arsenal at the Emirates in the third round of the Cup!

You can call the Box Office on 08444 77 00 77 or visit Roots Hall in person, but the Evening Echo is kindly giving the chance for all Shrimpers to win a couple of these cards in a not too difficult competition, so why not try your luck first?
