20-year old midfielder Franck Moussa, along with goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall and right back Simon Francis, are, as far as we know, the remaining members of the first team squad that are looking at a future away from Roots Hall, now that Macca and ex-Captain Adam are gone.

The Moose though has allowed his agent Lara Southworth to speak out on his behalf, and as far as she is concerned the events off the field, along with relegation on it, means even his appearance at the first day of pre-season training to-day should not be taken that he'll be lining up against Stockport on August 7.

Southworth told www.echo-news.co.uk: "Franck will be in for the start of pre-season training with Southend today but he is weighing up his options. What is going on there at the moment is crazy and I think that if any player there could get a move then they would go."

Now S24 are not the greatest fans of the agent, and as Tilly said about the situation back in May: "Franck hasn't signed his contract yet and I think his agent is looking to get him a move."

However, in this case we believe she's only telling it how it is, there's certainly going to be some interest after his good season in a poor side, and as much as we admire the SUFC Exiles sponsored Moose, it might be best for his future, and his landlord, if he buggers off and finds a club that will pay him on time.

Would any new contract from the club be worth the paper it's written on, Damien certainly didn't think so?
