Barrett: 'Franck has made the position his own now'
It can be worse than to be compared to present Swansea wideboy Mark Gower, who made 243 appearances for the Shrimpers between 2003-08.
Captain Adam told the Echo: "The way Franck comes in off the left hand side is similar to what Mark used to do for us. Mark did very well in that position despite being right-footed and now Franck is doing the same. We have a solid midfield with Anthony Grant, Jean-Francois Christophe and Alan McCormack and it's working well because Franck can get into good positions and he's causing opposing defences problems."
