Graham Coughlan's Blues Two's will travel to East Thurrock's Rockery Hill Stadium to play Ryman Division One side Grays Athletic on Wednesday, February 2nd; kick-off 19.45.

The team will include former youth team defender David Obaze, now 21, who left the club in 2008 and has since turned out for Bromley, Grays, Weymouth, and currently Carshalton Athletic.

He's a big boy at 6ft 5in and the centre-back has been training eith the first team squad this week, replacement for Luke Prosser?

The good news is that midfielder Miguel Comminges will at last get some game time in what is looking a handy starting eleven, which also includes Adam Bouzid, Ross County didn't work out then!

You will find the final score and a full match report on this site this evening.

Southend United: Bentley, Furlonge, Obaze, Phillips, Comminges, Woodyard, James-Lewis, Bouzid, Sawyer, Soares, Crawford.

The Shrimpers seconds won through to this stage after beating Chelmsford in a penalty shoot-out last month. (Report below).

This is the last quarter-final to be played, the semi-final draw will be on BBC Essex at 16.30 Thursday, February 3rd, with Heybridge Swifts, Billericay Town and Aveley are already in the last four.
