Essex Senior Cup Quarter-Final Draw

Last updated : 23 December 2010 By westfield shrimper
Grays Atheltic will play the winners of the rearranged fourth round tie in the Essex Senior Cup between Southend United and Chelmsford City.

The Shrimpers will visit the Clarets on Wednesday, January 5th, 2011, with the reward to the victors of a trip to Isthmian League Division One North club Grays on a date to be arranged.

The game was originally due to have been played at the start of December but was also called off because of a frozen pitch at Melbourne Park.

The Clarets beat Witham Town in the last round 2-1 and reached one more FA Cup round than the Blues, losing away to Wycombe Wanderers in the second stage 3-1 in a tightly fought tie.
