SHRIMPERS
I'll be away for this one, and to be honest, I need a break from the continuing drama that is Southend United, that defeat at Tilly's Lincoln hurt more than most.
Aldershot at home will be my next game, interesting to see where we'll be in the table by the first Saturday in April.
If this season is to be turned around once again victory over Hereford is not only important, it's essential.
However, let's not forget what Luggy has done, easy in the emotion of Sincil Bank last Saturday and no wins in five games.
There was hardly anyone here in the summer when he took over, and certainly no money, there still isn't any money, so plaudits to the former Plymouth boss for given us any excitement at all at the right end of the table, I think he's done an exceptional job.
Still, the return of Luke Prosser was something we might not agree on, however it's been reported as out for up to three weeks after picking up a calf strain, no official confirmation but we're keep him out, and that could see the return of Johnny Herd!
And with no news on the injured duo of Gilbert and Captain Craig I expect to see the same team a similar team to the one that lost at Crewe, unless, whisper it, we actually sign somebody in the penultimate week of the loan window, but no one's holding their breath.
The result? As I won't be there to see it, so nobody can wind me up, I'm going for a 2-0 victory, and why not?
Spring is in the air.
Possible Southend United: Morris, Clohessy, Coughlan, Barker, Herd, Ferdinand, Sawyer, Grant, Hall, Sturrock, Corr.
Subs: Evans, Comminges, Bouzid, Woodyard, Soares, Crawford, Asante.
COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!
OPPOSITION
The one team Hereford didn't want to lose to was Barnet, at home, but they did (report below), and they are now only four points from the releagtion zone, with games in hand but they're be scrapping all right!
Especially after an incredible run away from Edgar Street that has seen them win their last seven away games! They have not lost or drawn since being on the wrong end of a 2-1 result at Wycombe on Boxing Day!
Bulls boss Jamie Pitman has no new injury problems or suspensions to deal but was forced into one change against the Bees when midfielder Harry Pell was recalled by parent club Bristol Rovers, allowing James McQuilkin to replace him.
New striking loan signing Adrian Patulea was released by Orient and signed on to the end of the season, coming off the bench last weekend for a 25-minute debut.
However, he is not expected to take the place of our player-to-watch Waide Fairhurst in the starting line-up.
Who could though is brand new loanee from Shrewsbury, Steve Leslie, the attacking midfielder has signed for a month.
Player to watch
Waide Fairhurst
Yes, our very own ex-loanee gets the nod over top scorer Stuart Fleetwood as he's been quite a hit at Edgar Street since arriving as a Bull, also on loan.
In fact, the Doncaster Rovers striker has extended his loan spell for another month with the 21-year-old having scored three goals in seven appearances, and Fairhurst will remain in Herefordhire until April 14.

HISTORY
Hereford United Football Club was founded in 1924 with the merger of two local clubs St Martins and RAOC (Rotherwas), with the intention of sustaining a higher class of football in the city of Hereford. Hereford joined the Birmingham Combination and lost its first match 2-3 to Atherstone United. The club's second ever match was an FA Cup Preliminary Round tie against future rivals Kidderminster Harriers which they lost 2-7.
In 2007/08 the club were never out of the top five from November onwards and consistently placed in the automatic promotion places. Despite being pushed all the way by Stockport County, Hereford secured third place and promotion with a match to spare by defeating Brentford 3-0 at Griffin Park. This was greatly helped due to goals scored by the Blues connection of loanees Gary Hooper and Theo Robinson.
Sadly for them they struggled from the start back in the third tier with just 17 points on the board at the halfway point of the season. They rarely placed outside the relegation zone throughout the season with the highest position being 18th after the first match of the season. Hereford's relegation was confirmed on 18 April 2009, after they recorded 1 win and 11 defeats in a 12 match spell.
Last season they finished 16th in League Two.
For 2010/11 Simon Davey took over from Graham Turner who was now at League Two rivals Shrewsbury Town, but after a disastorous start he was soon on his way.
On October 4th, 2010, former midfielder Jamie Pitman was appointed caretaker manager and turned the Bulls results around where now they have a great chance of surviving the Conference, and on December 16th he was rewarded by being appointed manager until the end of the season.
