Nigel Brunning, BA Hons., FAC., MBA, no less, joined the board as Financial Director with effect from last Tuesday September 1st.
Uncle Ron said to the official site: "Nigel has been working for the club for some eight months now and this appointment to the Board is a reflection of what was envisaged at the time of Nigel's employment. I have no doubt that he will prove to be an influential member within the management team whose skill set will be invaluable to the Club's growth."
Certainly an interesting position to be filled at this moment in time, S24 wishes him the best of luck.
It was also announced at the same time that Gary Lockett had resigned as a Director of SUFC for personal reasons, an action he hopes will only be temporary.
Mr. Lockett also spoke to the official site: "I wish the club every sucess and aticipate and look forward to being able to return to the Board very shortly."
