An artist's impression of the new stadium

WARNING! This is an artists impression, not a real photo.

Going to be a struggle to get that Kevin Maher testimonial ready for August 2012 but it looks certain Fossets Farm, or whatever it's going to be called by then, is going to be built.

The only way at the end of the day Sainsbury's can have it's mega market on the Roots Hall site, and lots of pennies falling into Uncle Ron's pockets.

The new stadium will be exclusively paid for by Sainsbury's, a defence statement against HMRC's administration application told London's High Court.

The statement read: "Roots Hall Ltd will sell the existing ground to Sainsbury's and that Sainsbury's will pay for the football club's new stadium to be built. It is envisaged the construction of the new stadium will commence during this 12-month period."
