Wilson Turns Down Tilson

Che is quoted as saying "I have been offered a new contract but there is no way I will be signing it the way it is at the moment" .

Che Wilson
Most Improved Player of the Year
Wilson who recently won the most improved player at the ShrimperZone Player of the Season rewards has been a solid first team member this term after a shaky first season. Wilson has had his doubters and Blues fans had been calling for him to be dropped from the team, but Tilson stuck with his man for the best part of the season. However Wilson has now rejected Tilson in the new contract offer.

Wilson says that his reasons for turning it down were that he has to look after himself and his future and that the current deal is ‘disappointing'. However Wilson has said that he would welcome a revised contract offer, "I want to stay with the club, I've enjoyed it here and we've done well".

Matt Lockwood
Local Boy Matt Lockwood is always rumoured with the Blues
If Wilson does not sign a contract, Tlson will have to bring in another extra player to cover the vancant spot. Matthew Lockwood, the Leyton Orient full back, is always a popular name that always gets thrown into the rumour mill when talking about the left back position, and lives local to the League One team. However this is extremely unlikely because Lockwood is on a high wage and is only one season away from a testimonial season at Brisbane Road.
