Tommy and the boys will rock on back to Wiltshire on July 23

Blues boss Paul Sturrock have cancelled three pre-season friendlies in quick succession, but the new managers assistant, Tommy Widdrington, has been on the phone to the club he managed for five years and come up with a fixture to be played on Friday, July 23rd at Sailsbury's Raymond McEnhill Stadium, kick-off 19.30.

Due to financial problems, (we won't be going into them, we've written enough about money this week), the Whites suffered a drop down two divisions and will play this season in the Southern League Premier Division, but would have finished 6th in the Blue Square Premier if they hadn't picked up a ten-point penalty, then again they now have fewer players than us!

Updated Pre-Season Schedule

Friday, July 16th - Dartford (away); kick-off 19.45.
Monday, July 19th - DERBY COUNTY (home); kick-off 19.45.
Friday, July 23rd - Salisbury City (away); kick-off 19.30.
Wednesday, July 28th - Rushden & Diamonds (away); kick-off 19.30.
