What the opposition said...

"We're not having one of our best spells and it's very difficult to get things going," admitted Buckley. "To all sense and purposes their lad looked two or three yards offside to me when he's gone through and put the ball in the net. But it did leave us a long time to get back in the game and the way we've been going and particularly after the other night the last thing we needed to do was to concede an early goal at home. "For all the huffing and puffing we couldn't find a way back through. Thursday and Friday we worked very hard at trying to get our football going again and to work balls into the front men and to get in wide areas and deliver one or two quality crosses. "To be fair, on four or five occasions today we did that. We got good balls into front men and played off them. We got it into the wide areas and delivered two or three really good crosses. Yet we haven't got anybody hungry enough to get on the end of them and maybe score a goal because they were asking to be put in the net. "It's disappointing when you've worked at things all week and you don't get people on the end of crosses. "The crowd got frustrated with them for wasting time but credit to them for the result but I think they'd have been happy to waste time at 0-0. When you give them a goal after five minutes they're going to make the most of it. “The young goalkeeper did exceptionally well and he made an outstanding save, he was told yesterday that we were going to sign him professional for next season and he's got lots of potential. Alan Marriott had got a groin strain which he had the other night, he didn't seem to keen to carry on so you might as well give the young lad a chance. He did quite well although his kicking looked a bit dodgy but that's all to do with confidence."
