Quite a busy couple of days at the home of football over the weekend of July 25-26.

The Toomey Trophy Semi-Final Draw (played on July 25)

Everton v Fulham (11.30)
Southend v Arsenal (15.00)

The Third and Fourth play-off and Final will take place on Sunday July 26.

Head of Youth Ricky Duncan, talking to the official site, is confident the tournament will be a success: "The games will be of a good standard, I'm certain of that. Arsenal won their league and the FA Cup last season and Fulham and Everton are two of the strongest sides at Academy level so it will be a good test for our lads and one I'm looking forward to see how they handle."

Ricky believes next season will see the introduction of foreign sides: "We have a couple of Dutch teams who want to be involved in the tournament and are starting to try and compete for next year already, which is fantastic. We go abroad quite a bit and have established ourselves in Denmark and Holland and because of that they came on our website and heard about the Toomey Trophy. It's a big thing for us and I'd like to thank my staff for making it possible and to Toomey for coming forward to sponsor it. "

Midfielder Harry Crawford added: "It is a massive opportunity to play some big clubs. Just the name Arsenal means there is a buzz around the camp and it's just the same when you talk about Everton and Arsenal as well. We are playing a new formation, 4-4-1-1, this season, and I'm trying to get to terms with a new position just behind the main forward."

Meet the Blues Day will be be incorporated into the Toomey Trophy finals day on Sunday in the Roots Hall car park.
