Wedding bells to ring for Revell as full fitness edges closer

It seems a long time ago since the harrowing site of Revell being stretched off at Leyton Orient in January and it's good to hear confirmation that the bustling centre forward should be available for selection for the pre-season friendlies.

Before he has to worry about that there is a far more important date to look forward to.

Speaking to the Echo Alex spoke about his coming nuptials: "It's a big summer for me as I'm getting married. During my tough times of being injured it's been nice to have that to think about and plan. I haven't been able to make any final decisions about it of course but I'm looking forward to it and then the football will soon come around again which is what I want because I'm chomping at the bit."

Alex went on to speak about the loneliness of being a long term injury victim but bar from some heavy breathing after training and the muscles in his leg needing to be built up again he is overall feeling fine. Even to the extent of delaying having the metal plate and screws in his leg being taken out until the end of next season!

He continued: "If I have them taken out right away then I will be out for another two or three weeks and I don't want that. I've accidentally kicked them a few times and it hasn't been that bad so hopefully I can keep them in until next summer. I just might cause a bit of a delay when I'm passing through airport security!
