Damien Scannell: At the moment without a contract with the Shrimpers
Southend winger Damien Scannell was 'close' to signing a new contract three weeks ago according to Tilly back then, these must be tough talks, or maybe Damien is holding out for a club that will guarantee his wages every month!
Anyway, he's joined the Shrimpers portrait gallery on the PFA Transfer List:

Tilly told www.echo-news.co.uk: "We have offered him a two year deal and we are still in negotiations. He was playing well before getting injured last season and we're hopeful he will stay."
We can just wait and hope as well!
