United to Play Pre-Season Friendly at Frome Town

The match, for which the Shrimpers have promised to send a full first team, has come around as part of the deal which has brought Frome striker Mark Salter to Roots Hall.

Salter wasn't on a contract with Frome, so the Screwfix Direct Western League side could not demand a fee for their star man, so instead United have agreed to play a pre-season game at Badgers Hill.

The match is expected to take place in July.
