Southend United have added another game to their pre-season schedule when Championship side Ipswich Town will return to Roots Hall on Friday, July 9th, kick-off 19.45.
This will be the second friendly we've played against the Tractor Boys in two seasons, last summer they visted south-east Essex and won 2-0.

Managed by ex-ManU skipper Roy Keane, they endured a tough time last term but remained in the second tier easily enough in the end.
However, expectations will be higher this time around, and if the Suffolk based club are not amongst the challangers early on, Keane's position could be in danger.
Because of the game the away match with Thurrock has been moved back to Saturday, July 24th, kick-off 15.00.
Ticket prices for the Ipswich friendly have been confirmed as £12 for Adults, £6 for concessions, and £1 for under-7's.
