Lisbie; back to face the Blues

Head Farmer Aidy Boothroyd has learnt that leading goalscorer Kevin Lisbie will be available to play Southend in the Essex derby Monday evening.

Ipswich loanee Lisbie has struck 11 times in 25 league games for the U's and did not play in last Tuesday's win over Carlisle. He came on as a 64th minute substitute for Gillespie in the Boxing Day defeat of the Shrimpers at Roots Hall.

Defenders Christian Ribeiro and Paul Reid have also been passed fit to make the Colchester squad.

Boothroyd told www.gazette-news.co.uk: "I've got a bit of thinking to do."
