Spencer: 'I just hope I've done enough to get another chance'
Looks like he's done more than that!
20-year-old forward Scott Spencer has had just one game on trail for the Shrimpers, but he couldn't have done more than pick up a brace for the reserves last month in the 3-2 win over Colchester.
He's a free agent now after leaving League Two Rochdale, so he will be cheap!
Blues boss steve Tilson told the Echo: "Scotty has done well and we're looking to sign him. He has a good appetite and impressed in both the game he played in with the reserves and in training. He's hungry to do well and we've given him an opportunity so it's worked well both ways. It's certainly worth a punt and it should be completed quite soon."
