Tilly: 'We're still unbeaten and that's the most encouraging thing for me.'

Blues boss Steve Tilson told the official site: "I felt we should have won because we were better than them. We had the chances to get a victory and we should have had a penalty when Dougie Freedman got brought down inside the area. I can't be too critical of the lads though because I felt they were excellent and if we keep on playing like that then we will win more games than we lose that's for sure. The lads in midfield were all outstanding and John White at left-back was tremendous - individually we were the better team. We've had the chances to have got nine points out of nine."

Spud: 'I'm pleased for Matty to get a goal, he took it well.'

Chairboys and ex-Blues boss Peter Taylor told www.wycombewanderers.co.uk: "I thought Southend were much better than us if I'm honest. It was a very poor performance, yes the boys worked hard, but the passing and possession was all Southend's. The players looked a bit frightened to go and do what I told them to do. We looked too nervous. I wasn't happy with the first half anyway, so if anything their goal coming so close to the whistle made me even more miserable, if that's possible!"
