Tilly: 'Gills took their chances and that wins football matches'

Tilly spoke to www.southendunited.co.uk: "I thought we were a bit naive today when we didn't have the ball. I think over the 90 minutes we had as many chances as Gillingham, but we haven't taken them and that has cost us. Gillingham obviously took theirs and that is what wins football matches."

As for the lifting of the administration threat: "We had a makeshift side out there and need to bring players in. The tax bill has now been paid and hopefully, we can bring some players in as we are so short of numbers."

Stimson: Taking the positives

Stimpson: 'Brandy has set a standard now'

Stimpson talked to www.kentonline.co.uk: "I was really pleased with the performance. I changed the team around a bit and the boys who came in have done well. Febian looked sharp and you don't become a produce of Manchester United if you have no ability or something about you. He's set a standard now and I would be surprised if he doesn't keep that up."
