Tilly: 'They're quite strong at home'

Blues boss Steve Tilson is all ready for the long trip down to Somerset aiming for his fourth win in a row at Huish Park in the cider county.

Tilly spoke to www.southendunited.co.uk: "We've done well at Yeovil over the last few years so hopefully we can keep it going this weekend. They're quite strong at home though so it will be hard and they have got together a strong, athletic side who will certainly test us."

As for bringing in players on loan, he continued: "There are two or three targets we have. We're just waiting for the green light and if we can bring them in then it would make a massive difference. It would be nice if we could bring them in before the game."

Skiverton: 'We know what to expect and we know how to respond."

Glovers boss Terry Skiverton talked to BBC Radio Somerset: "Alex McCarthy has been away training with England Under-21s. They're mixing with better players and coming back full of beans and raring to go. It's probably a bad time for us as Southend have just come out of their transfer embargo. Steve Mildenhall is a decent keeper. He was a major factor in our success when we got to the Wembley play-off final. It'll be nice and tasty him coming back here."

Terry continued on playing a Southend side: "They are good footballing teams and he (Tilson) likes to get the ball down and play. They've always had good decent strikers with good movement and with people like (Adam) Barrett at the back they've got some really committed performers. So we know what to expect and we know how to respond."
