In another frutrating week for Shrimpers expecting postive news on the transfer front Tilly has learnt his lesson by not giving the media any clue on the name of the player he hopes will be joining the club.
Tilly told the official site: "There is one player we are waiting to hear back from at the moment and he's a defender on a free transfer," said Tilson, who remained tight-lipped about the identity of his target. He is someone who has played in the league before, but I don't want to say too much else about him because it could alert other clubs and that's not going to help us."
'Played in the league before', so has been playing in a higher one and not now? Has Tilly been on the phone to Yeovil? Is he out of the game at the moment?
