Tilly: 'It will be no different at Orient'

Blues boss Steve Tilson having confirmed Ian Joyce will continue in goal for the injured Steve Mildenhall expects to have just as difficult game against the O's as in the 2-1 defeat to Colchester Boxing Day.

Tilson spoke to www.southendunited.co.uk: "We now have another local derby at Leyton Orient on Monday, but they are all tough games in this division and it will be no different there."

Williams: 'All the ingredients are for a great game'

Orient boss and ex-head Farmer Geraint Williams also knows his side are not in for an easy afternoon.

Williams told www.leytonorient.com: "Every game is a big one at the moment, and Southend is the next one so it makes it the biggest. It's a local derby and if we win the game we go above Southend, so all the ingredients are for a great game."

And the news that he will lose two of his most influential players in veteran striker Scott Mcleish and the ever popular midfielder Sean Thornton?

Williams continued: "What we've had to do since Saturday is rest up, assess the bumps and bruises and pick a winning side for Monday."
