Tilson: 'We haven't been paid again and that isn't helping'

There are goalless draws and goalless draws, and then there's Saturday's goalless draw at Roots Hall against Yeovil.

It was horrible, the Exeter 0-0 game had an excitement factor of nine compared to this dross. (Well, maybe five.)

Blues boss Steve Tilson has admitted his team looked 'flat' and, after many months of not seeing the dosh going into the bank account on time, the club not being paid for March may have finally caught up with the Shriimpers.

Of course, we could do with an official statement where Chairman Ron Martin actually gives us the truth regarding this issue, but don't hold your breath.

Tilly told BBC Essex: "It's a tough league and there has certainly been events during the week that have not helped the cause. I'm not going to hide the fact we haven't been paid again and that isn't helping"

Don't worry folks, Uncle Ron is working on another power point presentation as we speak.
