Moose returns to an old feeding ground

Midfielder Moussa, the most consistent Blues performer this season, along with Lee Barnard's finishing, appreciates the extra tension in a fixture with so many former players turning out for either side.

He also acknowledges the time with Peter Taylor's side last season improved his game which the Shrimpers are benefiting from this season.

The Moose told the Echo: "After two draws it would be great to get a victory but it's going to be very hard for us there. I enjoyed my time at Wycombe last season and I'm looking forward to going back to play in their stadium. Going there helped me improve as a player at a time I wasn't getting games at Southend but it also means I know how difficult they will make it for us."

Hunt sadly will not play tonight as he's out with a broken foot while Wycombe are the only League One team without a point, however they did start against promotion favourites Charlton and Leeds.
