Last updated : 19 December 2002 By Mark Wallis
Bootham Crescent: City do not own their home ground and proposals have already been made to develop the site for housing.
Things in Yorkshire's Capital have been stuttering for a while football wise, and although the York City Trust has attracted many followers, low crowds at Bootham Crescent in particular have gone no where to halting the crippling financial downfall of the Minstermen.

City have today been placed into administration and given just four weeks to find a buyer or the Club will be closed and their Football League place withdrawn with immediate effect. In this instance their match with Swansea City on the 18th January will be the Club's last and their records for this season will be expunged.

We'll endeavor to bring you more news on this issue as, or indeed when, we recieve it.
