Di Canio: Abdulla says boss will get results

Di Canio: Must have concerns about his back four

Robins boss Paolo Di Canio could be looking for a loan signing to take on the Shrimpers at the weekend with up to four potential defenders out injured.

While we know that Italian Alberto Comazzi, there's a few of them surprise, surprise, will be missing after being sent off in stoppage time in the 3-2 win over Rotherham United when he picked up two yellows.

www.thisisswindontownfc.co.uk has reported that Joe Devera could start in his place, but central defender Aden Flint has picked up an injury that may see him out of the squad though the club insist he's fit!

Potential left-back or as part of a central duo, Alessandro Cibocchi, was also seen as doubtful but again the official site says he can play!

Swindon skipper Oliver Risser has played as a centre-back for Namibia, was looking good to return then went ahead and dislocated his thumb in training Thursday, ouch, so he may now be doubtful.

Though bringing in a player on loan is now available to Di Canio, he will have to move fast to get any replacement in place for Saturday.

Clarke: Moving to the Spireites

Clarke: Moving to Chesterfield after a domestic at the County Ground

Meanwhile, Swindon will be short at the other end of the field as well, as former Shrimpers loanee striker Leon Clark has become a Spireite a few weeks after moving to Wiltshire!

Clarke was involved in a much-publicised touchline spat with Di Canio that continued in to the tunnell after the Carling Cup defeat to Southampton last week, with the former Hamster telling the press the giant forward would never play for him again.

Leon will certainly help the firepower of a Chesterfield team that has struggled to find the back of the net, scoring just four league goals this season.

The loan move has been set for Friday.
