Sturrock: 'Two wondrous strikes from Michael Timlin'
Blues boss Paul Sturrock said before Saturday's League Two clash with Rotherham United that his side 'relishes playing against the top teams'.
Well, he sure proved that right with the Shrimpers coming out four goal winners at the Don Miller Stadium in Sheffield, and not a card in sight, of either colour!
Sturrock told the PA: "We've been tagged as boring after our two previous performances, but we weren't boring. We dominated from the first minute to the last. We showed we have some really good players. They had a couple of half-chances before we scored, but after that we were in control. The last 10 minutes of the first half we got pegged back a little and I thought it might be one of those days, but we came back in the second half with two wondrous strikes from Michael Timlin.
Neil Harris' goal was his first of the season and that's a bonus for him and hopefully that will now kickstart him for the rest of the season."

Not sure whose been giving the side the 'boring' accusation, but that's certainly been knocked into touch as the Millers will have to wait at least another year before they finally beat the Blues in South Yorkshire for the first time since 1980!
