Sturrock: 'I only want things to improve for Plymouth Argyle after Saturday'

Sturrock: New Shrimpers boss
Sturrock: 'It was a successful time too so I enjoyed it there'

Blues boss Paul Sturrock ran team affairs at Home Park for six years spread over two terms, and though he's upset by their current plight that wont get in the way of making sure his side grab three points against the Pilgrims at Roots Hall saturday afternoon.

Sturrock told www.echo-news.co.uk: "I have great affection for Plymouth and I have a real affiliation with them too so what’s happening there now has really saddened me. I had six good years with them and you just don’t forget that when you leave. It was a successful time too so I enjoyed it there and it’s terrible what’s happened there recently. I pray the club can sort itself out and that it can be bought by people who care about the football side of things and very quickly too. But I only want things to improve for them after tomorrow’s game and definitely not before it.”
