Walker's latest hamstring injury and Scannell's continuing knee problem mean both players, who have yet to be seen in any of the three warm-up games so far, will still be unavailable for Saturday's friendly at Chelmsford City.
However, Blues boss Steve Tilson, talking to the official site, is unconcerned: "They have been working hard on their own fitness regimes and I don't think they are missing out on too much. In an ideal world they would be playing in the games as well but they will be OK. We are being sensible with them and want them to have a full week of training before they figure in the friendlies."
