Fairhurst: Set for Shrimpers switch

Waide Fairhurst: Back in Doncaster

After a couple of appearances only, the rest of his time spent on the bench, and no goals, no surprise then that striker Waide Fairhurst has returned to his parent club Championship Doncaster Rovers.

At least this was Luggy's decision on a double loanee returning day for the Shrimpers, as earlier midfielder Michael Timlin was recalled by his club, Swindon Town.

With all of this following on from young Welsh striker Nathaniel Jarvis going back to Cardiff earlier last month, it's fair to say that for the Blues boss Paul Sturrock, the hunt is on!

Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk Wednesday: 'We will be speaking very soon. He did well in his first game but in his second no one played well. After that it's been hard for him to get in the team because Blair (Sturrock) and Barry Corr are back fit but I will be holding talks with him."
