Sofiene Zaaboub; off back to Algeria!
Shrimpers wideboy Sofiene Zaaboub has had his contract cancelled with the club by mutual consent and can return to Algeria and play for Ligue Professionnelle 1 side Entente Sporive de Setif.
Having been one of Sturrock's summer seventeen signings after taking a year out of the game for personal reasons, and another who had played under Luggy at Swindon Town, the Blues faithful never really got to know him as he was always injured.
And let's face it he didn't exactly cover himself in glory in each of his six starts for the Shrimpers.
Even so, S24 wishes Sofi the best of luck in the future.
