Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk: "You begin to wonder if the match will ever get played but it was a shame the game was called off because it was one we were looking forward to playing in. The good thing was that it was called off early before anyone would have started the journey. We had a few players injured who might be fit by the time we go there again and that's the positive way of looking at things."
