Ron Martin: He'll be back.........Friday in fact, to answer more queries
Well, it was hardly John Humphrys pressing the PM, but there he was, our on-bail chairman Ron Martin live on Blues World freeview, answering a few selected questions about the current sorry state of the club's finances.
And he admits it's all a bit gloomy out there.
As for the Echo article, 'how can anyone know?', he says, the 22m his companies are alleged to owe is 'nonsense'.
Now one winding-up order in a week is bad enough, but two over 48 hours is more than just careless it's downright scandelous.
Not so says our Ron, since relegation from the Championship we've lost around £6m in three seasons, he's invested heavily in the squad to get us back as soon as possible and been let down.
'The investment has not been utilised.'
Exeter City spent a mere million on their club, players, staff and tea lady, and didn't get relegated don't you know.
Oh, and the lack of a devent cp run was trawled out again, as if any club plans for that, they happen or they don't, in our case, usually not, for Manchester United and Chelsea to appear so close together was amazing.

Still, reasons to be cheerful for chairman Ron, those over paid bunch of under achieving bastards, no not the England squad, whinging about their mortgages, are all starting to bugger off.

And with the new budget from August 1st, "everybody will be paid on time.", might be bad luck at the end of July though lads!
What Tilly must be making of all this; probably, why does he keep me on if I'm so rubbish with these 30 odd loaness I've had to handle over the last couple of seasons?!!
