Steve Mildenhall; In happier times, when he thought we had some money

Well, it's not unsurprising!

Before the Stockport game in April a friend with connections to the club informed us that Mildy wanted out, and Shrimper message boards has accepted that the former Yeovil keeper was on his way for weeks now.

In an S24 poll 19% had Steve the most likely to go a few weeks back, with only Simon and Macca above him; we know the formers thoughts, West London beckons, we await to hear from the latter, but most believe it's only a matter of time.

Though we only have the infamous Echo source on record, seeing as Mildy only became a Shrimper because of the club's 'ambition', S24 are certainly with the local paper on this one!

Anyway, the 'source' has told www.echo-news.co.uk: "Steve is away on holiday at the moment but he has definitely asked to leave. The late payment of wages has played a part in his decision and he is also keen to be playing at a level higher than League Two."

Darryl, wanna a job?
