Southend United have confirmed that they paid £56,104.25, (25p, who was that for!), to agents for services rendered between October 1st 2008 to September 30th, 2009.
Something most clubs have to deal with nowadays, though some are worse than others, this is a small amount compared to what we actually owed the tax man!
It's also down from the last Football League report when the Shrimpers placed £78,820 in agents pockets between July 2008 and June 2009.
