Kalala: Suspended

Jean-Paul 'Kamudimba' Kalala: Live at Braintree tomorrow night

Following on from the S24 report that former Ipswich winger Reggie Lambe is all set to grab a trail in the friendly at Braintree Wednesday evening, is the news that a defensive midfielder in Congo international, he has 7 caps you know, Jean-Paul Kalala, is also down to try his luck in front of Blues boss Paul Sturrock.

Blimey Luggy another trialist in the middle of the park, he can't have much hope for Granty, Lee and the Tank escaping suspension next season!

He started his career in France playing for Nice before moving to Grimsby Town in 2005.

From The Mariners Jean-Paul moved on to play for Yeovil Town and Oldham Athletic before moving back to Grimsby on loan in 2008.

He re-joined Yeovil for a second spell in 2009 before signing for Bristol Rovers kast year but has been released by new boss Paul Buckle.

Is he another Jean-Francois Christophe? S24 will be a Braintree to report back! (Christophe trying his luck in Inverness we heard last!)
