SANCHEZ WATT

Sanchez Watt; should be fit for Saturday

The Shrimpers on loan Gunner Sanchez Watt was diagnosed with an ankle sprain after being replaced on 53 minutes of last Saturday's game with Tranmere Rovers.

The latest news from the official site has the England under-19 international
recovered from the injury and being fit for to play MK Dons Saturday.

Blues boss Steve Tilson told www.southendunited.co.uk: "Sanchez trained for the first time today. He did really well and looked lively so he seems to have shaken off the sprained ankle. As long as he suffers no reaction he will be available for selection."

Scott Malone; gives Tilly a rare selection problem for the weekend

There is also positive news on our other Premiership loanee, left back Scott Malone has been passed fit after his toe injury and will also be in the squad for the trip tp stadium:mk.

Anthony Grant; possibily not so happy after the latest news

However, the Southend manager was not so optimistic about Granty's possible return.

Tilly continued: "He was outside doing a bit of running earlier but he's no where being available yet."

Jermaine Easter

Jermaine Easter; Dons leading scorer returns from suspension

As 17-goal man Jermaine Easter returns from a two-match suspension, midfielder Stephen Gleeson starts one after reaching 10 yellow cards.

Sadly, for the Blues defence, Easter could be joined by 10-goal Sam Baldock, who has also missed the last two games due to a jarred knee.

At the other end of the pitch the Franchise back four that shipped five against Carlisle last weekend could have a far stronger look about it with three players that missed that match all being fit.

Take out the Dons captain Dean Lewington and you had a defence taking on the Cumbrians with less than 10 apperances between them, so the return of Mathias Doumbe, David McCraken and Danny Woodards would be annoying for hardly a free-scoring Blues attack since the selling of Barney.

Dons assistant boss Karl Robinson told www.mkdons.com: "It is looking positive for Saturday, we're hoping to have two or three of the injured lads back the squad, but consistancy will only come by them staying fit for the last 18 games of the season."
