Morris: Thigh injury could see Glenn missing up to six games
Shrimpers keeper Glenn Morris could be out of action for up to four weeks with a thigh injury.
The former Orient shot stopper was substituted in the second half of Saturday's 4-1 victory over Torquay after experiencing discomfort in his leg, and a scan has now revealed a strained thigh muscle as the problem.
The 27-year-old has been an ever-present for the club this season, keeping six clean sheets and only conceding 14 goals in 20 starts.
Teenager Daniel Bentley made his debut against the Gulls, but it looks as if Blues boss Paul Sturrock wants more experience and a Premier League player, who has turned out with both League One and Two clubs.
That would give Luke Daniels and Oscar Jansson of top tier teams West Brom and Spurs repectively a leg up so to speak, and with young Luke tweeting tonight on LukeDaniels88; 'Interesting 24 hours. Best start packing my bag!!!!', S24 are making him our favourite!
However, sources at Roots Hall Towers are now saying any deal is likely to be concluded Tuesday, might as well go straight to Barnet!
