Shrimpers Agree New Deal With M'Voto

He's gone, he'll be back!

A good 24 hours for news on the shrinking Shrimper centre half situation.

First we should be able to keep Sean Morrison from Swindon until the new year.

Then Jean-Yves M'Voto, officially on loan from Premiership Sunderland until January, but back on Wearside to continue his rehabilitation after hip surgery, should be able to take Sean's place once the powerful Frenchman returns to full fitness.

With the Black Cat back to the end of the season, poor young reserve keeper Ian Joyce, a victim of the bizzare transfer going's on at Roots Hall, should be able to sit on the subs bench at first team games once again.

Blues boss Steve Tilson confirmed to www.southendunited.co.uk: "We've ageed in principle for Jean-Yves to come back when he is fully fit. We didn't get to see much of him during his six months here but when we did he was a dominating character. Subject to him getting back to full fitness we will be loaning him until the end of the season at some point in January."
