Scott on Sanchez: 'He has plenty of flair and can really get at people'

Malone: 'Hopefully we can combine well together'

The one teammate Arsenal loanee Sanchez Watts knew from the past when he joined the Shrimpers on Monday was full back Scott Malone, as they have played in the same England Under-19 side.

Malone spoke to www.echo-news.co.uk: "Sanchez is a very good player, he has plenty of flair and he can really get at people. I'm looking forward to him playing for us and he will add plenty of fire to our attack."

The defender on loan from Wolverhampton could be playing very closely to Sanchez in the Essex derby Monday evening as player shortages might see him pushed into left midfield as the young Gunner starts on the left wing.

Scott concluded: "I think that's where Sanchez will play so it will be interesting and hopefully we can combine well together. When we've been with England he's been further forward so we haven't played like that before but I'm sure it will work well."
