Back to Wolves for Scott

Poor Scott Malone, the Shrimpers loanne left back from Wolves, he will miss sitting on the bench against Stockport and Southampton, maybe even a reserve trip to Stevenage, life just ain't fair.

In all seriousness it's not a real surprise that now relegation to League Two has been confirmed, and anyway Johnny Herd has now made the position his own again, get a long throw Scott, it's not surprising the midlands Premiership club would want to protect their England Under-19 international.

He should be ahead of George Friend in the Wolves left back pecking order anyway!

Scott joined originally in November 2009 being picked up on the M6 on the way to a 2-0 defeat at Tranmere. His loan being extended in January until the end of the season, that has come quicker than was probably expected at the time.

A good passer of the ball, but certainly not the set-piece genius we were led to believe, he never seemed to settle in the hurly-burly of third tier action, and S24 wishes Scott all the best for the future.
