Doubt 1 - M'voto; still in pain from his hip

Blues boss Steve Tilson spoke to the official site after the Oldham game: "Jean has been in a lot of pain in his hip area and wasn't fit enough to play. We will have to see how he reacts to treatment before making a decision about the Brentford game because it's too early to tell right now."

Doubt 2 - Scannell; picked up an ankle injury

It didn't help the Shrimper cause that winger Damian Scannell could not be brought on to give the home side some much needed width on Saturday.

All has been revealed.

Sadly he'd picked up an ankle injury in training and that was that without another wide player to call upon with Kevin Betsy loaned out to Wycombe, where he played a full part in a 1-1 draw with Alex Revell's Swindon.

Damien will have another fitness test along with M'Voto to see if they have any chance of playing at Brentford for the 19.45 kick-off on Tuesday September 29th.
