At Coventry I only played one game and then at Wycombe I started slowly but towards the end I found the form I had at Southend and now I'm confident that I can come back and do it again."
Sawyer will play some part in Tuesday evening's friendly at Canvey Island and the teenager is confident fitness will not be a problem.
Lee said: "I had nine weeks off over the summer and I have only been back in training a week but I'm feeling fresh. At Chelsea I have one year left on my contract and this is a big season for me."
