While Theo wouldn't rule out a return to Southend, he's well aware that it's discussions with the Hornets and his agent that will ultimately decide his where he spends next season.

Speaking to the official site Theo said: "It's too early to know what's going to happen and I certainly don't know at this stage. The most important thing to me is just that I'm playing first team football again. Going to Southend gave me another taste of that which I enjoyed but I need to speak to Watford and also my agent to see what they have in mind for me."

Robinson, who scored seven goals in 21 games for Southend, all of those goals scored in games the team won, still has two years of his contract left with Watford but returned there knowing he'd done a good job for the Blues.

He continued: "I really enjoyed my time with Southend. I scored seven goals and managed to get the one in three games I was hoping for. It was a good loan spell though and the team did well too. I'd be quite happy to go back but I'm really not sure what will happen."
